AO / Dayspring Supported Living Services of Arkansas
Supported Living Services
Supported Living Services is a service designed to provide supports to adults with Developmental Disabilities so they can live in their own home, in the community of their choice. This service provided all the supports needed for a person served to live in the community safely, successfully and with an enhanced quality of life.
Services include:
- Individual staff supported, as identified by a personalized plan for service
- 24 hour on call availability
- Medical support team
- Positive behavior support
- Development and oversight of personal plans
We support people as they build independence and practice skills in their own homes such as:
- Health and safety
- Household skills
- Social skills
- Community participation
- Self-advocacy
- Leisure skills and development of personal interests
- Hiring and evaluating of their support staff
AO was asked to begin providing Supported Living in Arkansas in 2011 after a successful history of running Individualized Supported Living in Missouri for over 20 years.
